jQuery but not really…

Bando Ben has been trying to get me into jquery lately. Ive kind of given in and started looking into it. My first impression was that it could make windows, slide things and drag and drop. Although most people might find this useful, I couldn’t think of a good use for it. There are obviously bazillions but I couldn’t think of one at the time. Then I was talking to a mate, let’s call him “Blogless Dean”. He is a chronic stumbler. He came across ajaxrain and was telling me about it. I had a 5 minute look and saw an mp3 player. ‘That’s awse’, I said to myself. So about 4 weeks later I got around to implementing it(its in the sidebar if you didnt see it)… However, the tutorial wasn’t an ajax tutorial at all. It was a ‘download and install this’ tutorial so I haven’t learned a thing. For anyone that wants to see, here is the link. Its actually really cool, and I’m sure I could have read into it and learned something but im afraid I didn’t.

As for the music, yes it’s me playing. Not the drums, but all the guitars. It’s just playing around. Similar to Nat’s stuff on his site, but a lot less professional, and lets not deny it, good. But, a special note, with the cowbell song, I was getting bored with the auto-drummer to turned it on as a metronome. Make sure you use good headphones or it sounds like my guitar has been castrated and there is only cowbell. There can be only cowbell.
